World Science Festival – Gladstone

World Science Festival Queensland is coming to Gladstone on 17-18 June 2022. Engage with the wonders of science through two days of astounding activities, spectacular showcases and exceptional educational stalls. Come check out FBA’s stall and meet some of the wonderful scientists including myself shaping the environment of the future and sustainable natural resource management. Scientist extraordinaires Dr Karl Kruszelnicki and Joel Gilmore will be there for you to meet.
Day one 17 June is Student Day and day two 18 June is Community Day.
Student Day
Student Day is split into three sessions; primary, primary and high school, and has been designed to engage students in stimulating and inspiring experiences that show case careers in STEM. Each session contains a 45-minute-curriculum-linked program followed by an hour self-directed exploration of the stalls, fascinating displays and pop-up demonstrations.

Community Day
Community Day brings mind-blowing exploration of the truly phenomenal world we live in – from scientific challenges to technological solutions that inspire hope and wonder for our future. Come join the celebration of World Science Festival. Audiences will have the chance to revel in science that thrills and challenges, take part in dynamic talks, engage in loads of family fun and explore interactive art installations
General admission and activities are free. Join us from 9am – 3pm.
