2025 Grazing Forum
Reef Catchments presents an impressive line-up of expert speakers at this year’s Grazing Forum, where you’ll explore everything from paddock to sale in our region.
Facilitated by Burnett Mary Regional Group’s Amy-Lee Provost, the conference will feature insightful presentations from Tim Emery (DPI Beef Extension), James Kent (Great Northern Brahman Sale), and Jason Mansfield (Greater Whitsundays Vet Services), along with an exclusive presentation of cattle in the arena by Lawson Camm (Cambil Brahmans).
A diverse array of stallholders will be on hand, offering you the opportunity to connect with industry specialists and fellow graziers, and discover innovative methods and practical ideas to elevate your grazing enterprise. Plus, bring in your own soil samples on either day for free soil testing with Drought Hub. The Grazing Field Day will take place in Yalboroo. Facilitated by Reef Catchments, the event will focus on sporobolus grass with Dr Wayne Vogler and Mandy Jeppsen, who will take us through the nutritional requirements of tropical improved pasture, and highlight the transition from old farmland to quality pasture.
