Workforce Planning Connect – Tools for agricultural business webinar
Is your business ready to: respond to changes in staffing; explore growth and expansion; and/or start planning for the future?
Queensland Farmers Federation and Jobs Queensland are inviting small to medium businesses across the state to participate in an online webinar event to learn and gain skills in workforce planning. Effective workforce planning is crucial for businesses seeking to overcome economic and labour market challenges.
In this two-hour webinar you will learn how to develop your own workforce plan and learn about the benefits of undertaking workforce planning. We will guide you through the use of the tools that have been developed to assist you in the workforce planning.
Jobs Queensland in collaboration with the Queensland Farmers’ Federation have developed a suite of free workforce planning resources for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Queensland Agriculture Industry.
The resources have been designed to help Queensland agriculture SMEs:
- understand the benefits and advantages of workforce planning
- build knowledge and understanding of workforce planning
- grow capability and skills in workforce planning.
The support provided by the Queensland Agriculture Workforce Network (QAWN) and the members of the Rural Jobs and Skills Alliance (RJSA) in the development of the tools is also acknowledged.
