Understanding Soils – Practical hands-on HORT360 workshop for horticulture growers

Are you a horticulture grower in the Fitzroy? Then we want you to attend this workshop in South Yaamba!

Brought to you by state peak industry body Growcom, this workshop will:
• demonstrate practical, hands-on activities to assist you in understanding your soil
• give you confidence in knowing what your soil properties are and what it needs to improve production
• show you how to use Hort360 – an industry best management practice program designed to increase your certainty in managing soil, water and crops while achieving good financial returns.

Guest presenters include:

David Hall – agronomist and soil chemistry guru. What David doesn’t know about soil chemistry is not worth knowing. You’ll be joining him in the soil pit as he shares his intel with you.
Michelle Haase – Hort360 Facilitator. Michelle will walk you through using Hort360 and resources available to growers through Hort360.

This is a FREE event for horticulture growers. All participating growers will receive a property map with available soils information, and a Hort360 login pack. It will include a paddock walk, and a delicious BBQ dinner. All are welcome.
