Are you a Stockyard Point resident interested in helping nesting and hatching marine turtles?
Fitzroy Basin Association (FBA) are looking for volunteers to help monitor and record marine turtle movements on Byfield beaches.

– The different marine turtles in the region
– How to identify different species of marine turtles
– How to report sightings using your smart phone

ABOUT TEAM TURTLE CQ (TTCQ)
Guest Speakers
TTCQ was established in 2015 by FBA to gain a greater understanding of marine turtle nesting in central Queensland. Volunteers actively monitor CQ beaches from October to March each year to collect data. This data is provided to the QLD Turtle Conservation Program.
