During the week, join thousands of people around the country in observing and counting the birds that live near you – in your garden, a local park, the beach or in the middle of town!

It’s a great way to connect with nature while helping BirdLife Australia learn more about the birds that live where people live ‒ and there are some incredible prizes on offer!

To take part, register online as a counter, then you can use the web form or the app to submit your counts during the week. Just enter your location and get counting ‒ each count takes just 20 minutes!
