Boyne Valley Bushfire Preparedness – Planning Workshop

The popular property fire information session and planning workshop series is coming to Gladstone region, giving local landholders the chance to share and learn how to prepare for and manage fire on their properties and in the surrounding landscape.

Representatives from the Queensland Fire and Biodiversity Consortium (QFBC), Gladstone Regional Council, Rural Fire Service Queensland will share information about their roles and offer advice about planning for the approaching fire season.

To be eligible to attend the planning workshop, your property must be in the Gladstone area, and over 1.5 hectares in size, unless it is next to or adjoining a very large natural area.

The QFBC – a program of Healthy Land & Water – and QFES are proudly partnering with Gladstone Regional Council to deliver these sessions.

It is important to note to attend the planning workshop, you must attend the initial information session.
