This masterclass is tailored for private weed contractors, bush regenerators, Landcare volunteers and local government looking for new and innovative solutions to control weeds.
Explore the latest ag-tech weed control solutions and witness a practical field demonstration of saturated steam technology with owner and operator of Blue Hand Steam, Kinan Lemberg. Participants will walk through comprehensive theory and training for effective steamwand operation and maximum effectiveness.
Topics to be covered include;
• Introduction to steamwand – brief history
• Steamwand apparatus, components, function, operation and trouble shooting
• Safety features
• Effects of saturated steam on various weeds
• Best techniques for steamwand weed control
The practical demonstration will include; looking at the main components of the unit, basic maintenance, use of control panel, start-up and shut-down procedures, available attachments and troubleshooting. Places are limited for the masterclass and RSVP is essential.
