CQUniversity AgTech Researchers

CQU researchers work across Belmont Research Station, the Central Queensland Innovation Research Precinct and commercial grazing properties to test and demonstrate emerging livestock technologies.

Their work explores tools such as smart ear tags, GPS and accelerometer devices, proximity sensors, remote weighing systems and other animal and infrastructure-based sensors. The focus is not only on whether the technology works, but how practical, useful and suitable it is for real grazing businesses.
