Rebecca Allen
Rebecca has been the Assistant Director Regional Engagement – Reef Integrated Monitoring and Reporting Program, for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority since early 2017.
After completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Rebecca has since worked in the Queensland government with the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. She has enjoyed roles in environmental regulation, strategic projects and planning, coastal natural resource assessment, planning and development assessment, and worked initially as a fisheries technician. Rebecca was appointed to the FBA Board in 2017.
