Posted on December 9th, 2024
2025 is shaping up to be a busy year for FBA.
As the Australian Government’s Regional Delivery Partner for Environment, Agriculture and Natural Resource Management Work, FBA will roll-out several exciting projects that encompass species conservation, landscape restoration and climate preparedness.
A number of projects focus on enhancing or restoring Brigalow landscapes or the species who rely on them and depend on land manager and First Nations participation.
Efforts to restore Koala Habitat in the Clake-Connors Range and Threatened King Blue Grass communities will also continue with involvement from species experts, First Nations People and land managers.
2025 will also see FBA’s largest sediment-saving initiative to date commence onground work. This transformative $44.6 million project, set to roll out over six years, focusing on riverbank restoration efforts.
With many more projects underway and on the horizon, the FBA team is gearing up for a great year of impactful collaborations with new and existing community connections across the region.
