Ben Lawrie
Ben owns and operates a grain and cattle property at Westwood, in Central Queensland, and is also a Chartered Accountant with a keen interest in risk management.
Throughout Ben’s professional training he has developed skills that allow him to assess problems, consider alternatives and implement strategies to improve processes and outcomes in a structured manner.
As a custodian of the land, his main focus is on sustainability and continuous improvement. Survival in Ag businesses requires managing climate change, innovation and implementing good strategic decision making. Ben believes that the skills he has developed over the years will help guide the future direction of FBA.
