Sponsorship to attend Landcare conference on offer

This year’s conference is based around the theme of celebrating our history, growing our future. The diverse program will include robust discussion and analysis of the future of Landcare by pioneers, leaders of NRM bodies, scientists, academics, government, and environmental, climate and biodiversity experts.
This year the Regional Landcare Facilitators Program can sponsor a member of your group to attend the National Landcare Conference!
The Regional Landcare Facilitators Program aims to contribute towards developing a skilled and capable Landcare community within our region. Sponsorship will be offered to build the capacity of regional community leaders including both men and women, young people, Indigenous Australians and people from culturally diverse communities, involved in agriculture and the protection of natural resources to attend the conference.
To be eligible for sponsorship, you must:
- Live in the Fitzroy Basin Catchment Region
- Have an active role within Landcare or natural resource management
- Be willing to share your highlights from the conference
Sponsorship will cover:
- Full attendance to the conference, including a field trip
- Landcare award dinner
- Travel and accommodation costs up to $500.00
