Toad Busters – Gladstone
Join local experts for a fun and informative evening while reducing the number of Cane Toads in our waterways and parks.
The poisonous introduced toads pose a serious threat to native wildlife. A female adult Cane Toad can produce up to 35,000 eggs twice a year! Last season Conservation Volunteers removed over 5,000 toads, help them catch even more this year at Toad Buster events around our region.
Full training, bags, latex gloves, safety glasses and counters are provided.
Please wear closed in shoes, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, insect repellent and bring a water bottle and torch (a head torch is preferred) and a sense of adventure.
All participants under the age of 15 must be supervised.
When – Tuesday, 5 March (6pm – 8pm)
Where – Tondoon Botanical Gardens, Gladstone
