Port Curtis Harbour Watch
To celebrate International Volunteers Day and celebrate the work of volunteers, Harbour Watch has organised a BOATING day.
This Citizen Science community event will allow Port Curtis Harbour Watch to continue their work collecting first hand water quality data in the Gladstone Harbour.
When – Saturday, 5 December
Time – 8am – 1pm
Where – Departure will be from the Calliope River Boat ramp near the Gladstone Power Station
Sampling sites – Calliope River, Wiggins Island, Grahams Creek, the inner harbour islands and Pelican Banks
Vessel – Boyne Island Environmental Education Centre’s vessel Corixa II – 6m centre console aluminium boat with twin motors and full length cover with a flat floor.
