Explore the prehistoric past of the Fitzroy River Basin and discover the stories of the ancient creatures that lived in our region millions of years ago. Capricorn Caves’ expert palaeo-guides will talk about the amazing creatures that once roamed this land using real fossils from Capricorn Caves and fossils of giant extinct megafauna, which have never been seen before in Rockhampton, thanks to their partnership with the Queensland Museum.
