Communities Impact Program – grants of up to $500k now available!

Grants of up to $500k, as well as leadership development support opportunities, are now available in 35 regions across all jurisdictions (excl. ACT) to help communities get ready for drought.
Community organisations within these 35 regional areas with ideas for events, training, capability building and small infrastructure projects that can help their local community prepare for drought can apply now.
Community organisations could include local sporting or social groups, self-support organisations, local charity or welfare groups, volunteer organisations or any similar body.
If you are located within any of the 35 regional areas, please read the Communities Impact Program information on the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry website and promote this program to relevant stakeholders and regional communities.
