Nature In Focus Competition
Take a photo of your favourite natural place in CQ for your chance to win.
FBA Nature In Focus Photo Competition is back for another year. We invite anyone living in the Fitzroy region to grab a camera, get outdoors and capture natural assets right here in our backyard. Once you’ve taken a great pic, submit your favourite photos for your chance to win one of seven major Fitzroy region experience prizes.
We are looking for photos that celebrate the following categories:
- Freshwater
- Air
- Soil
- Coastal and Marine
- Land-based
- Ground water
- People and community
Major prize winners will be selected by a judging panel who assess images and captions, for their originality, creativity, and relevance. Participants need to register to be eligible as winners.
Important Information
All images must be 2MB or under and accompanied with a 20-word minimum and 50-word maximum caption “Why the image is important to you?”

How to enter
Step 1 – Take a photo of your favourite place in CQ.
Step 2 – Upload your photo to the gallery – Gallery Link Here
Step 3 – Tell us in 20-50 words “Why this photo is important to you”
Step 4 – Go in the draw to win a Nature Experience
