Sandra Hobbs
Sandra has been a long-term advocate and driver for the Central Queensland community. Experienced in industry, economic, and community development, Sandra led Central Highlands Development Corporation, as their General Manager, between 2009 and 2021.
Sandra is the Executive Officer of the Central Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils and has recently retired from a position on the Board of Regional Development Australia, Central and Western Queensland.
As an active participant on boards and committees that aim to strengthen local economies and communities in central Queensland, Sandra is a respected manager and leader who is motivated by a community’s potential for growth, prosperity and resilience.
Dedicated to the communities in which she works, Sandra takes pride in being an industry influencer and has instinctive relationship and management development skills.
Qualifications that augment Sandra’s service to the region include those held with Australian Institute of Company Directors and extensive workplace training and assessment accreditation. As a senior executive, Sandra is proficient at analysis and reporting for local government and not-for-profit entities.
