Fitzroy Basin Association (FBA) invites tenders to deliver ground works for the DES Environmental Recovery Program. Through this tender invitation, FBA seeks to engage a skilled construction firm to provide the services outlined in Schedule 1 –Scope of Works. The project involves stabilizing a bank of the Fitzroy River to combat erosion and enhance the stability of the surrounding area. The location of the site is in Garnant, Queensland (Lat/Long -23.11214, 150.24387). Works are anticipated to commence in August 2024 during the “dry season”. | Closing Date: 01/08/2024

Fitzroy River Bank Stabilisation Site Visit

The site visit is scheduled for Wednesday 10 July. Please visit this page again before departure as site access may be limited due to recent weather.

Corner of Glenroy rd and Garnant Rd.   Seems like the shortest route from Rockhampton is via Fairy Bower/Nine Mile due to the construction work in Pink Lilly area. See below images for details
