Resilient Pastures and the use of Legumes in pastures

Ross Newman’s journey embodies passion, innovation, and dedication. From a family farm near Rockhampton, he transformed agriculture after earning a Bachelor of Applied Science – Rural Technology (Hons) from UQ. As a broad-acre agronomist, he tackled tropical pasture challenges, addressing issues like productivity decline and climate variability. For four years, he’s reshaped grazing sustainability, mentored professionals, and managed an irrigated property and Brahman stud, inspiring sustainable change.
