Five Rocks Beach Clean Up 2017

ONE weekend, 67 volunteers and in excess of 1 tonne of marine debris removed from our beaches.
The 2017 Five Rocks Beach Clean Up is proudly sponsored by FBA on behalf of the National Landcare Programme.
The investment in this event is in recognition of the direct and tangible impact of the clean up upon internationally significant Ramsar wetlands, that lie just beyond the sand dunes.
Reducing marine debris is also a high priority for FBA, for the preservation of fauna and fauna, including nesting turtles who frequent the Shoalwater and Corio Bay areas and the health of the Great Barrier Reef.
