Consultation workshops enabled determination of draft Environmental
Values (EVs) for groups of waterways from each catchment. They also
enabled determination of waterways with
High Ecological Value
and those that are only
slightly disturbed
. The information has been summarised in a series of tables and
will be used with
Water
Quality Guidelines to set
Water
Quality Objectives. Results from the Traditional Owners workshop have been
incorporated into these tables. Traditional Owner values are based
on past and present spiritual and cultural values.
