FBA recognises the valuable role that graziers play in caring for the region and has a dedicated team of Land Management Officers who work to help them create more profitable and sustainable businesses.

FBA is a not for profit organisation. Along with the services below, we offer regular workshops and training opportunities, many of which are free.

Improving Groundcover

The Grazing Resilience and Sustainable Solutions (GRASS) program can help graziers improve poor and degraded land and meet the requirements under the Reef protection regulations.

Preventing and Remediating Gully Erosion

Erosion caused by wind and water can strip land of valuable topsoil, decreasing productivity and (in its most destructive form) create gullies. To help land managers in central Queensland prevent and remediate erosion on their properties FBA teamed up with Burnett Mary Regional Group (BMRG) to make a five-part educational video series.

Help protect koalas in the Clarke-Connors Range

FBA is inviting landholders in the Clarke-Connors Range to participate in a Koala Protection Project. Participants will potentially receive funding to assist with habitat management and to contribute their knowledge of local koalas.
